Jeremy Stephens

explicitly calls it a stay-away because of the power/low-hands risk

A solid, forward-pressing striker who still carries real power at 155 after moving up from featherweight, keeps that power late into fights, and throws a distinctively exaggerated, committed uppercut. His grappling is decent and mostly a mixed-in offensive wrinkle rather than a plan - heavy ground-and-pound if he gets a takedown - but he is beatable by being taken down and held there, which is how he has lost before.

He restates the same winner three separate times without ever softening the outcome itself, and he explicitly picks against the fighter he says he personally favors.

A heavy-handed striker praised as having among the biggest one-shot power in his weight class, a trait that does not fade as rounds go on; that comes with real forward pace, combination work, and a signature uppercut with a real finishing history. His leg kicks get less use than before given his time away from the sport. Offensively on the mat he can be dangerous diving into ground strikes, but his takedown defense is a real liability and he can be trapped there, a pattern already exposed in a prior promotion.
