Shamil Abdurakhimov

Picked against with no qualifier on the opponent's win. Route-by-route on his side: boxing -- conceded, then dismissed as slower and below what the matchup needs, not shut; counter-striking -- same clause, conceded-then-dismissed, partially answered by Almeida's low absorption rate; power -- conceded in present tense, the knockdown-then-top-pressure formula recounted in past tense, dismissed as slower, not shut; wrestling/top pressure -- never addressed beyond placing Almeida's high-level grappling opposite it; cardio and chin -- liabilities, not routes. Every asset is conceded-then-dismissed rather than closed, which is why this is clear, not emphatic, despite lock-of-the-night language. The -1100 remark sits alongside the pick (he says it does not matter); the broken-leg aside is an exclusion.

A 41-year-old with 27 professional bouts whom the analyst places at the tail end of his run. His wrestle-boxing formula -- boxing, counter punching, power, then following a hurt opponent to the floor for top pressure and ground strikes -- is described as still present but slower than it was, with conditioning and durability also starting to slip. Against a grappler of Almeida's calibre the analyst treats that package as insufficient and gives him no realistic route.
