Nascimento is a good striker with strong forward pressure, real power, and heavy kicks to the legs and body that he mixes with good head movement. The analyst said he would rate the striking a notch higher if not for one issue: he gets caught while closing distance, in part because he is the shorter man in this matchup. His grappling is a secondary, less technical tool built mostly around a bodylock drag-down, but once the fight hits the floor he grounds and pounds well and shows real finishing instinct.
