stylistic favorite, but "it is a debut"

Good striker making his UFC debut off an impressive Contender Series run; his best tool is body work, mixed with good movement, knees, a flying knee to close distance and boxing combos that set up the body shots. Power is decent -- can finish with one shot but is more often an attrition finisher. Takedown defense is pretty good, anchored by a strong sprawl, though tape shows him ending up in a lot of guillotines even though he escapes them.
